Who We Are

Rainbow Forest Centre London Limited, a subsidiary of Rainbow Forest Group, was officially established in January 2022, following the launch of our services in the UK in November 2020 as a branch of Rainbow Forest Group — a Japanese mental health institution based in Tottori, Japan.

In Japan, Rainbow Forest Group, operated by Unicare Sakano Limited, is a unique organisation providing community-based mental health care. We have long worked to expand non-pharmacological options, offering counselling, a range of psychological therapies, behavioural support, and collaboration with schools and local authorities. Our centre in Tottori, housed in a warmly renovated traditional home, serves as a safe and welcoming space for children and families facing neurodevelopmental conditions, school refusal, or mental health challenges.

Rainbow Forest Centre London shares this vision. We support Japanese-speaking children and families in the UK through counselling, psychological therapies, and psychoeducational assessments in Japanese, delivered based on Japanese professional qualifications.

Our mission is to walk alongside immigrant neurodivergent children and their families — to affirm, not fix; to understand, not judge — and to help each child grow into who they already are.

Our Mission

"Let these children make our world shine."    - Kazuo Itoga

Who are the most vulnerable people in the world? What can we do for children who feel there is no hope for their tomorrow?

We will work on all challenges for every child so that they can be the hope itself, instead of just giving them something as charity.

Our logo represents animals and plants which symbolise everyone's hopes and dreams. It also describes the future where those dreams are shining like a rainbow.
